Developed between Indonesia and Australia, Sampai, Tak Sampai is a live performance installation by artist Jumaadi and sound designer and composer Michael Toisuta exploring migration, displacement and the environment. Inspired by the Javanese tradition of boyongan, where communities carry their belongings during relocation, the work brings together objects, bodies, shadows, images and sound in an evolving experience that continually transforms throughout the day.
