Kriti Gupta has never moved in a straight line. Born in India, raised in regional Queensland, with a brief chapter in America before landing in Sydney, her life has unfolded across places, cultures and industries – always in motion, always evolving.

She describes herself as a “creative media slashie”, though even that feels like an understatement. Social media creator, strategist, editor, copywriter, podcaster, voiceover artist, on-screen talent – Kriti’s practice resists a single lane. Instead, it reflects the reality of a generation building careers across platforms, disciplines and identities, often all at once.

At the centre of it all is her voice. Not just in the literal sense, but in how she has shaped a presence that is distinctly her own – built over time through words, performance and perspective. Alongside collaborations with titles including Punkee, Refinery29, Escape and delicious., she also launched In My Head Co. – a content and editorial practice that doubles as a media and advocacy platform.

Though her family left India in 2001, its imprint remains close – in the fashion, music, street food and cultural rituals that continue to shape her sense of home. That connection carries through her work and point of view, fuelling her call for greater access, funding and space for voices that sit beyond the narrow frame of what is typically platformed.

Craft and practice

  • Copywriting and editorial writing work

  • Creative direction and campaign development

  • Social media strategy, content creation and audience development

  • Voiceover, on-screen talent and podcasting with a distinct voice

  • Building media-led platforms that merge storytelling with advocacy and impact

Dare we dream

“I’m less interested in chasing dream clients, and more interested in working with collaborators at an inflection point – culturally, creatively or reputationally – who need help articulating what they actually stand for, and are brave enough to say it. The project I’m most invested in is already in motion with In My Head Co. – it’s just about having the time, resources and funding to keep building it.”
